History of LDSA

LDSA Reps was formed in 1989 by Mike Lalande with the goal of providing factories and brands in the lawn & garden category with the best representation available in the Pacific Northwest.  He was joined in 1993 and 1994 by lawn & garden veterans Candie and Craig Dunn and then by Bob Steele in 1995.  Over the next 20 years that core team built LDSA Reps into one of the most respected agencies in the category, building long term relationships with the best brands in the country and the most important retailers in the PNW. 

LDSA Reps continued to grow into the 21st century.  Dean Peterson was welcomed on board in 2009 and began to establish LDSA Reps in ecommerce, guiding brands to success on Amazon, Wayfair and others.  With the retirements of Mike Lalande and Bob Steele, Chris Starr joined the agency in 2013 followed by Steve Grassman in 2014.  Craig and Candie Dunn retired in 2019.

Moving into 2020 and beyond, LDSA Reps remains committed to the same core mission held for over 30 years.  We provide unmatched sales and service support to all the factories and brands we represent and will do so with honesty, integrity and focus.  Our extensive network of relationships in the Pacific Northwest will provide our factories and brands with maximum opportunity. We pride ourselves in creating valuable partnerships between brands and retailers, partnerships that will last for years because they are built on a foundation of trust that is mutually beneficial.  Our experience and dedication to our partners, both factory and retailer, will continue to guide us into the future.
